This was the peak of a substorm stretching from horizon to horizon on the morning of 9/22/07, which highlighed an evening of aurora watching. The air temperature was in the mid-teens, as this was the morning of Fairbank's killing frost. ASA 800, 10 sec., f4.8, 10 mm. (1.5x). Looking west and overhead.
