Peak event 9/22/2007 around 2AM. Fairbanks, Alaska.

This was the peak of a substorm stretching from horizon to horizon on
the morning of 9/22/07, which highlighed
an evening of aurora watching. The air temperature was in the
mid-teens, as this was the morning of Fairbank's killing frost.

Early in the evening there was an active aurora above the cloud deck. Later
on the sky cleared and from 11:30 PM till midnight there was a decent
