This is an eight minute exposure using a Nikon F80 attached to a "Barn Door Tracker," a home made instrument which allows the camera to follow the Earth's rotation and avoid star trails. Fuji Provia 400, f4.

This is a 30 minute exposure of Orion. Sirius is in the bottom left. Aldebaran is in the upper right. The celestial equator is an imaginary diagonal line just above the three stars making up Orion's belt.
