cloud/fog cover enveloped us

At the antisolar point emerges these anticrepuscular rays, quite
colourful and vivid.A little smike from a forest fire added a bit of
haziness to them

Zodiacal Light

We have had exceptionally clear days and excellent night, so it was

A chance look at the sky and Ol Sol and his dog were there...A very
faint dog appeared on the right side but very difficult to see, then it

The moon is almost down to the cloud line and this was the last shot but

the Omega Cluster..taken with a Canon 300D through an 11 inch Celestron

The delicate film of cloud cover and the sun halo added to the already
full sky, with a warm NW wind and lenticular clouds the sky was filled
with a range of differing cloud types. Canon 300D ISO 100 wideangle

Irridescent cloud

Another of natures heavenly displays, this cloud changed colour every

A false colour Infra-Red image of the sun's halo, this is a bit of
experimentation using an IR filter on the sun. We have had many good

This long anticrepuscular ray over the ocean was so long it did not fit
into the coverage angle of the 10mm wideangle lens. Nice strong ray,
lasted for 5 minutes. Canon 300D 10-22mm lens

thunderstorm preceeded the display, clearing the air.
