Submitted by:
Dave at Mon May 16 01:27:01 2005 UTC
That is for my May 15th Aurora display, more clouds are rolling
in and twilight fast approaches, the sky still had that somewhat
eerie blue violet cast so i snapped one final image before heading
home.

Attempting to escape the Lake effect clouds in N.E Ohio another
Astronomer friend and i made the decision to head to Southern Ohio for
the Eclipse...Clear Sky Clock was forecasting 20-30% cloud coverage near
Caldwell Ohio, turns out the forecast was right but with one problem the
30% of the sky that was cloudy was the East..South East portion of the
sky. I still managed to get images through breaks in the high cirrus
clouds......Lucky Me ;-) Image was taken Prime Focus...Meade 10" Schmidt

an intense storm...all images taken on the 30th were exposed on

and natural.
