Gassendi and Mare Humorum

The rills seen in and around the left half of smooth Mare Humorum are Rimae Mersenius, Rimae Palmieri and Rimae daGasparis, all named after neighboring craters. The white line on the left edge of the mare is a fault named Rupes Liebig. At the top of the mare is crater Gassendi which has its own rills, appropriately named Rimae Gassendi.
