KETCHIKAN AURORA

Submitted by: Polar Celts at Tue Jul 27 14:41:01 2004 UTC

I used a Canon Powershot A70 2;8f 15 second exposure. This was shot at 1:30a.m. The Aurora was not bright but very plasma-like and quickly moving. There was no color visible to the eye. I would have used a 30 exposure, however i am limited to 15 secdonds. This is my 1st attempt with a digital. Our skies were mostly blocked by cloudd cover.
