Annular eclipse from Champaign, Illinois. Nikon 300mm lens, 2x converter, no filter, 1/4000 sec. Since the camera was pre-alligned for previous images, I just had to try it without the filter. Bill Reyna / Wayne, NJ n2qbr@msn.com

Enhancement to the raw image was done with the "auto color" filter in Adobe Bridge CS2. Image was shot 4 miles north of Highland Mills, NY. Canon 30D with an adapted Nikon 300mm f4.0 lens. ISO 400, f4.0, 1/4 sec

Submitted by: WIlliam L Reyna Jr at Mon Sep 8 16:10:01 2003 UTC

This was the night I and some friends from the Salt Lake Astonomical Society was supposed to view Mars through the 24" Clark Telescope 8/23/03 . Didn't get to do any viewing because of scattered thunderstorms and showers in the area. Don't need any watermarks on those optics. Nikon 8008 w/ Nikon 24-50 lens, 8 second exposure w/open flash.
