Submitted by: Mike ! at Tue Jun 3 09:40:01 2003 UTC

This photo was taken during the brief intense activity in late May. To the naked eye only green and a slight hint of purple was visible. This frame of view was only a small portion of the arc that was visible from the Northwest to Southeast horizon. Photo details: 24m lens, F/2.8, Fuji Superia 400, 12 seconds.

This image was taken on Mar 29 2003 between 07:00 and 09:00 UTC. Photo details 35mm SLR, 24 mm lens. F/2.8, Fugi Superia 400. As much as I hate clouds this photo gives nice contrast in colors.

Tree Line Aurora 4/20/02

Photo taken on 04/20/02 near Cooking Lake,Alberta (50 Km east of Edmonton,Alberta) Waiting for the crescent moon to set, image direction North. Using a Mamiya Secor with 24mm lens, F/2.8 for 30 seconds. This band running along the entire North horizon marked the beginning of an amazing display. 4 roles of film wasn't enough over the two day display.
