Right On Time!! At 6:17pm last evening the Space Station made a 3 minute pass over St.John's Newfoundland Canada and directly over the constellation of Orion. Saturn is the bright planet in the upper left corner. Taken January 29, 2003 @ 6:20pm with a Canon A40 Digital camera. I captured this Sun Pillar using a Canon FTB 35mm camera in the winter of 1978 just outside my summer home 60 miles west of St.John's Newfoundland Canada. I digitally scanned the film negative using a Primefilm scanner. The railway tracks were removed a few years later but they really added to the composition.
