Orion from the Moon?
Taken Mar.22, 2003 @ 10pm in a Provincial Park just outside of Gander,
Newfoundland Canada. The snow in the foreground took on an interesting
colour after a 15 second exposure to capture the constellation. F2.8,

Right On Time!! At 6:17pm last evening the Space Station made a 3

constellation of Orion. Saturn is the bright planet in the upper left
corner. Taken January 29, 2003 @ 6:20pm with a Canon A40 Digital
camera. Shutter 4 sec, F 2.8, ISO 400 (should have used 100 to reduce
picture noise).

Scanned from a 35mm negative this is my best shot of Comet Hyakutake
1996. Originally taken using a Canon T70 with a Canon Zoom Lens. The
objects trail a little due to the time exposure. Eastern Newfoundland
Canada.

I captured this Sun Pillar using a Canon FTB 35mm camera in the winter
of 1978 just outside my summer home 60 miles west of St.John's
Newfoundland Canada. I digitally scanned the film negative using a
Primefilm scanner. The railway tracks were removed a few years later but
they really added to the composition. A sunset to remember!

While waiting for the ISS to make its pass I turned my focus to the "Big
Dipper" behind me. The farm house was backlit with the light from the
distant town of Torbay Newfoundland.
