exhausted afterwards...

Aurora through clouds, 01 October 2002

This was the first night of the "aurora marathon" here in Bodø,
Northern Norway (N67,28/E14,38) - 14 auroral nights in a row! This
first show would have been really brilliant without clouds, but even
so I got some very nice views.

Aurora in Northern Norway, 01 October 2002

This was the first night of the "aurora marathon" here in Bodø,
Northern Norway (N67,28/E14,38) - 14 auroral nights in a row! I
missed most of that night's show due to clouds. This was one of the
clearest moments.

This aurora was a nice surprise. The red was not visible to the
unaided eye. Picture taken in Bodø, Norway, N67.28/E14.38, around
11pm local time (21UT), on Fuji Superia 400, 20mm/f1.8, ca. 6 sec.
