Corona - October 1, 2002

This image was taken at 11:45 p.m. on Tuesday, October 1, 2002. The
photograph of the corona looks like a bird flying south for the winter.
I just can't figure out why they would do that. Winter's aren't that
bad here, are they? Lyndon Anderson, Bismarck, North Dakota, USA.

This image was taken at 4:45 a.m. on Tuesday, September 30, 2002. it
was kind of an eerie morning, with the coyotes howling, the fairly
bright moon, and the hemmed in feeling of dense fog all around me.

This image was taken at ~5:50 a.m. on September 12, 2002. I could see the pulsating aurora towards the horizon, but not the purple rays. The sky was rapidly brightening in the northeast sky when I took this photo. Lyndon Anderson, Bismarck, North Dako
