Downtown Double Exposure

Submitted by: at Mon Sep 23 21:10:01 2002 UTC

Even in the light-polluted, 24/7 urban environment... Earth's satellite... The Moon, shines through. The image above was captured on a cold November evening... in Atlanta GA... and is a double exposure on a single 35mm film frame. Building image was 1/2 second at f4 with 300mm lens. Lunar image was 1/30 second at f11 with a 90mm Maksutov-Cassegrain telescope, clock-driven at adjusted lunar rate. Film used was Agfa Ultra ISO 50 color print.
