Submitted by:
Robert B. Slobins at Sat Sep 7 03:45:01 2002 UTC
This image is the fifth of a series of twelve of either a limb spray
or eruptive prominence. This prominence resembled spray fireworks
and had very fast motions. I observed the action through the ground
glass of my camera, so I sacrificed the opportunity to watch the details
for the photos.
Equipment: 200mm SCT, Coronado ASP-60/BF15 H-alpha filter
combination. f/33, 1/11 second, ISO 50 (Velvia).
