Some coronal holes are always observable on the sun. Displays of the aurora therefore might be seen regularly from high latitudes.

Network Solutions, in their infinite wisdom, made a huge mistake (April 16th, 2008) and "accidentally" switched 15 domain names (an octet) from our ISP's leg of IP addresses to a "pending renewal / deletion" status, even though those domains had been fully validated and paid for. We have no other word except it was "someones mistake" at Network Solutions. It took 24 hours for them to recognize the problem (with our ISP on their heels) and correct it.

Unfortunately, our domain (spacew.com) was one of those affected. As a result, many people whose ISP's domain name servers refreshed with root servers during this problem period will not be able to access our site until their ISP refreshes their domain name list with the root servers. That could take up to a week or so (or more) to fix.

This was completey out of both our control and our ISP's control.

Thank you Network Solutions!
