Ace MAG is showing a small shock at 0600.

Also a nice increase in sw density.

Have had a green glow to the north for the past few hours here.
Could be a nice bit of a show, or nothing

I was out this morning.

In North Dakota, there was definitely a small display to the north - and I could tell there was a small substorm, including very faint rays, and a small arc - just above the horizon.

To the northeast of the display, dawn was starting to break.

A small display - but beautiful (as is any display of the northern lights).

I happened to wake up at about 4am here (11:00UT) and caught a brief show out the window. It was quite nice - right around the crescent moon. Way too tired to even think about photos, although I don't think it lasted long enough to even get outside.

at least it did locally....started up about 9:30 PM Alaska time (+9 ut)  and it's still going strong at 12:50 AM local.  the salmon cam has the show right now....nice purple fringing...
